TOURNAMENT RULES: The Tournament Directors word will be final on tournament play and rule challenges. 2. Buy-in is $50 and for $4000 in chips. NO REBUYS. 3. Prize payout will be 80% of tournament buy-in to the top 10 players. 4. Remember, the fair is a family friendly event and people will be milling through the tournament area. Absolutely no swearing or foul language will be allowed - penalties will be enforced. 5. Verbal declarations in turn are binding. 6. Tables will be kept with as even a number of players as possible; one or more players may be asked to move to even out table numbers. 7. Time between blind changes will run 20 minutes the first hour. 8. All cards will be turned face up once a player is all in and all action is complete. 9. Side pots —Each side pot will be split as a separate pot. They will not be mixed together for they are split. 10. Once a reasonable time has elapsed, a player will be given 1 minute to make their decision. 11. Dead button —Tournament play will use a dead button. 12.If a player puts in a raise of 50% or more of the previous bet, he will be required to make a flail raise. The raise will be exactly the minimum raise allowed. 13. The one-player-to-a-hand rule will be enforced. 14. No cell phone use at the table during play. 15. Players may not ask for deck changes. Deck changes will be on the dealer push or limit changes or as prescribed by the house. 16. When time has elapsed in a round and a new round is announced, the new limits apply to the next hand. 17. A player may not miss a hand. 18. No rabbit hunting is allowed. 19. All chips must be visibly displayed at all times. Players may not have tournament chips in their pockets at any time. 20. If a dealer kills an unprotected hand, the player will have no redress and will not be entitled to his money back. An exception would be if a player raised and his raise had not been called yet, he would be entitled to receive his raise back. 21. A dealer cannot kill a winning hand that was turned face up and was obviously the winning hand. 22. Penalties available for use by the TD will include: verbal warnings, 10,20,30 and 40 minutes away from the table and may be use at the TD’s discretion. A player who is disqualified shall have his/her chips removed and asked to leave the area. |
